IMPORTING FILES - CONTINOUS COUNTER????

When importing a consecutive CF card in to the import folder the counter reverts back to 001 causing the file numbering to show 001 1 and 002 1 and so forth. can anyone help so that they are continuous/

    Hi,

    Is it that you want the counter to continue counting in general (from day one to infinity) or is it you like to import images from multiple cards in one stroke, once in a while, like when you had a big shoot.

    In the latter case you could copy them first to a temporary folder and import them with CO4 in one go.

    Have had a go and it all works, just so frustrating. I always shoot consecutive cards into one folder. I shoot fashion and shoot up to 200 shots for an image.
    this new program is adding to workload instead of minimising.
