Nikon D200 Tethered shooting problem: C1 5.1 & Windows 7
Hey there,
I've recently been upgraded to Windows 7. Was on windows xp before, and was using capture one with tethering perfectly fine.
Now for some reason capture 1 won't register the camera. I have Nikon Capture Control Pro 2, and I can shoot tethered with that software, however in C1 it always says 'No Camera Attached'. In the C1 library, the camera is listed there as D200.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance, Dave

First check: you run CO 5.1 Pro, not running in DB mode. Second, check your D200's communication settings. Third, make sure no other (Nikon) software is running, hijacking the connection the the camera. 0 -
Hey there,
Running Capture 1 5.1 pro, not in DB mode. Settings on camera are set to PTP - are there other settings that i would need to check? I've tried it without any other tethering software open and still no luck.0 -
Check the firmware in your camera body and ensure it is up to date.
Check that the Nikon software DOES connect with your camera. As we use the same drivers as the Nikon software, as they are provided to us from Nikon, if the nikon software works so does Capture One.0 -
Hello I do encounter the same problem.
It doesn't work with my D200 either.
I'm on windows 7 64bits and capture one PRO 5.1 and my D 200 camera is not detected in tethered mode.
I think i tried quite everything : Firmware is up to date (2.1), USB settings are correct and the camera is found and recognised by Nikon camera control Pro2.7 in tethered mode.
