A long zoom?
Really needs a profile?

Reviews I've read say it has little distortion. (Hoping to afford one of these soon!)

If the corrections are mainly for colour shifts, light fall off and so on I would think they would be quite manageable in C1 lens adjustments for the time being. It's usually the wide angle that is problematic.
Thinking about it, the last time I decided to check the lens lists I seem to recall there were very few long lenses listed - at least in the Canon section to which I gravitate.

The same goes for the Nikon lists which are my preference.

Based on what I have seen I suspect that for long primes and zooms there is little point, if it's a quality lens, being bothered with corrections.
This also applies to zoom lenses on small cameras. My Canon "pocket" cameras, devices where one expect correction to be required, have correction up to about the 50/60mm FF equivalent but nothing I can see after that. At least in terms of geometric distortion.
