Files order in capture folder/tethering

Happy new year to all! and pardon me for the probably basic question.

When tethering I am getting files not following a normal chronological order.
For example: 1 next capture shows up as 1.1, 2 following shot is 2.1 and so on instead of a simple 1, 2, 3 sequence.
Can anybody suggest the quick fix?

  What is the naming format? Which tokens do you use?
