I just downloaded it, as the release notes claim it fixes a couple of other unnamed bugs. I have not been experiencing the crashes others have; but I only run in sessions.0 -

On the download page there are some alternative links to try if for any reason you have problems with the primary link. I had no problem downloading yesterday but if you have check the download page for alternatives. Not sure where they are - I didn't need them.
If you can't access the download page at all I am guessing you may have some other sort of problem.

Thanks for the reply,
This is the page that I was trying : http://www.phaseone.com/en/Downloads/Ca ... Pro-7.aspx
And that is no alternative!
Thanks,

Are you running Win 7 or Win8? (reference Vinny's post above)
Win 7 (I'm looking using Firefox) once you have entered your email details to get to the download page there are 2 links at the bottom left of the window offering download server options. Or there should be. These are the ones Christian referred to I think.
It looks like both would work for me - but I downloaded yesterday anyway so no need to do it again.

I´m using win8 and Chrome...
Back in the days there used to be mirrors to choose from...but recently after clicking download, browers load a new page and the download either begins or ends up in Server error 400 or 500
Tried IE too but it´s a no-go with that too...
I find it strange that how difficult can it be making the download work 😄 Sure you can make a world winning raw-converter...but downloading it 😄 😄0 -
Okay !
As it happened, I was already logged in to my profile when trying to download which as said, ended up giving the server error...
I logged out and typed my email on the download page...and voila - two mirrors to choose from and so on. Downloaded the update succesfully...
So it seems, that there´s some sort of bug preventing the download if you´re already logged in. Hope PO fixes it. Not very professional as I see it...0 -
I kept getting Server 500 errors when I tried many times to upload images to support. I was only successful once. I asked Firefox support why I was getting this error and they told me the fault was on Phase One's server and there was nothing I could do about it. Now I'm also getting Server 500 errors when I tried to download the update. Sometime ago I did get to talk to a nice lady in support who told me they mostly used Macs and had no problems but could not help me with Windows.
I was finally successful in downloading buy switching from Firefox to Internet Explorer and Selecting "Delete Browsing History" and checking every box and deleting the selections. Then I went to the Phase One download site, manually signed in and I was given a choice of either US or European sites.
I used IE only because I don't normally use it and losing the Cookies didn't matter.0 -
I downloaded the 7.1.5 version..it has now fixed the crash problems I was experiencing 0 -
Same here, after the click on "Download" -> Server Error 500 0 -

I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has had umpteen (hopefully false positive) malware threat reports when trying to install 7.1.5 - my AV checker (Avast!) has been positively lit up:

Hy Keith,
I also use Avast and when it willbe possible again to download 7.15 I can tell you if Avast will do the same by me.0 -
Avast is complaining to me also. I didn't have time to work it out at the time. The download was okay. But when installing I got a message that Avast automatically moved "ImgCoreProcess.exe" into quarantine, saying that it found "Win.32:Evo-gen [Susp]". I told telling C1 install to ignore it's error message and it finished it's installation. But when trying to run the program Avast would pop up again and C1 froze. I ended up going back to 7.1.4 to finish my current project but haven't tried 7.1.5 since. So yeah, you're not the only one with this problem. I'm using the latest Avast (2014.9.0.2006) on Windows 7. 0 -
It should be OK - I scanned the downloaded file and it reports back clean - and it's only at the install stage that the shenanigans start.
Temporarily disabling Avast! during the install gets the job done, and I've subsequently scanned the Capture One 7 folder in Program Files - again, clean.0 -
My Virus checker is flagging up files as possible threats (never had this with previous versions) - anyone else experience this?
I have contacted support with the same question and still waiting on a reply..
*edit*
should have read page 2..0 -
...I´m not having any problems with 7.1.5 or with any other CO updates.
I´m using F-Secure, so it must be Avast what´s causing the problem...0 -
Which AV, Bob? 0 -
Co Pro Version 7.1.5 installed fine on my Win 7 64 bit machine. I am using Avast 8.0.1497 with latest engine and virus definitions.

I just downloaded it in New Jersey USA. There were no problems either in download or installation and it solved several glitches. I for one am happy. 0 -

I have the same problem when I want to download an update of CO. Contact with Norman Security tells me:
“The site is having poor reputation and involves in malware distribution. We will continue to block it.â€0 -
Server 500 error here as well. 0 -
Well ,no-one seems to have the answer to my original question but reading between the lines of others experiences and on the basis that my 7.1.4 version is working ok I think I'll leave well alone at this stage! 0 -
Can anyone provide a link to the release notes for 7.1.5? 0 -

Your call of course and I agree with leaving things alone if all is working to your satisfaction.
I updated to 7.1.5 late last week. Last night I ran through the creation of a new session and assessing selecting about 1300 files from an event yesterday, some of which have been quite heavily tested by editing, and have had no problems. I have also checked some previous sessions and they are fine as well.
It seems a little faster- but then I had not updated to some of the previous versions along the way and I had no complaints about speed anyway. The only thing that is slightly different for me is that nothing I do seems to generate any activity reported by the GPU monitoring widget. It's a fairly low power GPU anyway and a reasonably high power CPU so maybe things are being kept simple by skipping the GPU completely. I'm guessing though and in any case it makes no difference to me as far as I know one way or the other.
HTH.
