C1 loses my adjustments
Hi,
I'm having a problem with the adjustments made , for example a week ago, disappearing from my session when I open it today.
This has been happening a lot.
A client send his final selection, and when I open my session to only save large resolution files, all the adjustments are gone and I have to start all from scratch.
Using CO 12 and Mac os 10.12.6 (Sierra)
What I'm I doing wrong ?
Thanks
Marcos

Are you sure you open the session where you did the adjustments?0 -
I had the same thing recently, losing adjustments made in a session.
Luckily it happened on a freshly created and small session and I didn't lose any hard work.
I imported the session to a catalog and it seems that all the adjustments I made after that have been retained (knock on wood).
I had the session on an external USB 3 drive, used Capture One 11.3 on High Sierra 10.13.6.
The catalog that imported the session is on the internal SSD.0 -
I'm having the same problem. For some reason I cannot explain it worked well over the past week or so, then yesterday all of a sudden it started to happen again and today the same problem is still there. Lost loads of work I did yesterday. I've been using C1 since version 9 and this never happened before to me. At the beginning of december I contacted support and they promised a fix. C1 12 is at this point not usable to me. Really disappointed. 0 -
Now that we know this happens it would be good practice to make a backup copy of the session database before any catalog import operation, and then it can be restored if needed.
In the last relase I started setting the catalog backup to occur every time I leave Capture One.
I wonder if this occurs when when the session is not open in Capture One.
I have noticed in some previous releases that Capture One seems more stable when only one document is open, might be the case here also.0 -
I'm confident they'll fix it. In the meantime I tried something yesterday. As it seems to lose adjustments only in layer 1 (in my case) I create layer 1 and leave it empty. I only start doing adjustments from layer 2. It seems to work. Since I started doing this yesterday I haven't lost any adjustments It's not a solution, but until there's a fix it works for me. 0
