Support for Pentax 645D

Will that camera be supported one day?
Or ist it too much concurrence for Phase?

    We are an open platform software and support all manner of cameras.
    Some, however, are not given permission for use in our software. Others are not possible for us to support without the manufactures assistance (ex, Fuji X-Pro1). If you would like to see support for this cameras files in Capture One, please request that Pentax contact us to expedite the possibility.
    Camera's are not always left unsupported because of a lack of desire on our end but due to external forces that we cannot control. 😉

    Hi Drew, I'll certainly send your message to Pentax…
    On one hand:
    I've been disappointed as I raised a support case on January 8, requesting the support by C1 for theses Pentax PEF files and the reply was

    Hi - thanks for writing.
    Based on your request we will add your request to our feature request list. Then it's our management group that will decide if the camera can be added to the list.

    On the other hand:
    C1 is supporting a lot of other Pentax camera PEF files, so I don't understand why they shouln't cooperate for the 645D… ?

    I'll keep-up hoping and if you need a beta tester, I'm ready…

    CO7 now supports the Pentax K-5 IIs and K-5 II (both preliminary),

    Why not the 645D?

    Another request for support of the 645D, it's close to a showstopper for me. I really don't want to go back to ACR. C1 is my raw converter of choice.

    I have been tired to wait for any good news in that regard and have abandoned C1 for LR4 and now 5.
    It is not so bad when you get used to it…
    I will try again C1 when the support for the 645D will be announced, if that occurs one day before my retirement!
    I have been using C1 since V3 and loved it. Some features of C1 v7 are missing to me, but what can I do if I need to deliver my work to my clients???
