To be honest, you should think about upgrade to Mac OS 10.3 or 10.4.
Other option is to upgrade to Capture One 3.7.1 which should increase stability by far, but there is quite a big difference between Jaguar and Panther/Tiger, to ensure future support for your operating system, upgrading this would be a far better alternative then keep the current version.

    Sorry, I miss-typed. I meant 10.4.2

What I don't understand is that it has worked on this system before with many more files in the folder.

    Bob,

I have had the same problem some time ago. My files where captured with P20 on CF card. When I wanted to open them in C1 and scolled down the preview window, C1 crashed - alway at the same position. It seemed that there was one file corrupt. After I removed the suspect from the folder, everything was fine.

    Dear Josef

After trying lots of different things it seems I had the same problem, a corrupt file.

Which brings me to ask if there is any way of finding corrupt files? Without going through lots of elimination.

    Bob,
the only indication I have found: the corrupt file didn't show up with a preview in the finder, just the TIFF symbol was displayed.

    Dear Josef

My corrupt file showed up in the finder and looked pretty good in Bridge but still managed to crash C1. Actually I have had a troublesome corrupt file before which made my HDs misbehave. That too was hidden and needed a mac expert to find it.
