Is there anyway to make profiles stick??
I've used Magne's profiles almost exclusively in the past. With V4 you have to select the profile for each shot. Is there anyway to make the profile sticky? Can I resort to renaming the profile to generic? Also can I safely move/delete the unused profiles keeping only the one I use. I have a number that mimic different films (B&W and color) which makes the list very long. Scrolling past profiles for cameras I don't own is tedious.

There is no way to make the profile stick. This is one of the 3 or 4 most common complaints.
Yes, you can rename your Magne profile to the generic name, but why should we have to do this?0 -
FWIW, you can apply a profile using that command, while not sticky..it works for all selected files...I'm sure they will be working on the sticky feature, as most want this....
...and if you haven't tried the profiles under "Effects", you should. They are far superior to my previous B/w, etc files....
...as a third party vendor, perhaps Et Cetera could rename the profiles for users. Has this been requested?0 -
That's a shame...it makes working with the program much clumsier. I may try the rename trick since I haven't been able to get the profile to apply to a selected group of images. I must be doing some thing wrong.
I sincerely hope that this is high on the "fix' list for Phase One.0 -

To get this to work, you have to apply the profile you want to an image, click 'copy adjustments' icon, select all the images you want the profile to be applied to and then click on 'apply adjustments' icon.

This is a HUGE gap in my opinion. What a major pain! 0
