C1Pro 3.7 - How to add & del Session Tabs?
This is driving me nuts and I hope someone can help. In the main window where the thumbnails are, above them there are tabs. The tabs are like shortcuts to the locations of your files. I can't figure out how to create new tabs or delete a tab? You would think it would be as easy as opening up the file browser and dragging and dropping it to the tab line but no, it does not work. When I highlight a folder in the file browser and choose the \"new session\" button it only allows me to add a sub folder. Help!
Thanks,
Todd

Todd,
Use the available icons to accomplish all of these tasks. Placing the cursor over an icon will bring up a text display of what that icon does.
Open / Create new Session Adds an image collection to the list
Delete the active collection removes the tab from Capture One, however the folder still remains in its location, and can be added once again by browsing to it.
When using the File Browser, Insert current folder as permanent collection adds a Session tab. The text on this tab becomes Regular type, while it remains italicized if it has not been added to permanent collection.
Open/Create new Session allows the naming of a Collection.
Yes, Session and Collection are one in the same, a folder of images with the name displayed upon the tab.
Create New sub folder icon does just that, it creates a subfolder at the File Browser area.

I can't find icons for these:-

pearlbucknall,
I’ll assume you’re using LE rather than PRO version. Keep in mind that the same manual is used for both and can create some confusion in regards to tools or features.
Open / Create new Session >>> this icon is in PRO version only and is typically used to establish a Session folder for tethered shooting.
Delete the active collection >>> exists in both versions and is the opening folder with the Red X icon. It is located immediately underneath the Collection pulldown.
Using the Browse folders… icon, Sessions/Collections may be added as well.

FYI in 3.7.1 Windows version of C1 Pro this does not seem to work, or works on just a few icons. I have tried many times to place the cursor on icons, without clicking on it, and wait for a brief descrition to appear and it doesn't.0 -
kdaphoto,
Every single tool and icon will display its function in a pop-up.
If your install of Capture One is not showing the tool/icon definition, you should clean out all Phase One products and complete a clean install.
The best way to resolve all issues is to do a complete cleansing. Follow Knowledge Base article # 1665 for a complete Uninstall of the software. Then install v3.7
