How do I transfer C1 catalog file and picture folder from internal hard drive to external SSD drive?

    I think the easiest way is to copy the catalog to the new location.
    Open the new catalog in C1.
    Add the new location in the folder tool (library tab).
    Drag the files form the old location to the new location in C1.

    You could also keep you catalog on your internal drive and move the images to the external drive. The benefits are:
    - you free up most of the space possible as the catalog takes only a small portion of the total amount
    - you have the best performance and stability when you use the internal drive for the catalog, its database with adjustments and previews
    - you have always access to your images, even in an offline state, to browse, sort, and edit, when the external drive is not connected.

    Paul, thanks.
    From within C1, I should be able to simply drag and drop the my originals folder onto the external drive. C1 DAM should take care of the details.
