Opening IIQ's in ACR
Hey,
So shooting along with the 180 and the client wanted to open an IIQ in Photoshop (without C1, gasp!) and my version of PS wouldn't see the file.
I have CS 5, version 12.
Is there a trick?
I tried tif, TIFF, ...
Hmmm ...
Thanks!
Steve

You can open IQ-series IIQ files with ACR of CS5, but like Capture One, you need to update the plug-in to catch up with the latest raw file formats. It opens both normal and Sensor+ shots.
Tested with IQ160 files on ACR 6.6 plug-in with CS5. From the Photoshop menu, you can check the plug-in version. It should also update with CS5's update manager or download it here and install manually.

Photoshop CS5 (12.0.4) with ACR 6.6 will open IQ180, P40+ and P65+ IIQ files also. 0 -
Changing the extension of the raw files from .iiq to .tif will render them correctly and let you open them in cs3, cs4 and cs5 if you're in a pinch. 0 -

renaming should not be necessary - at least not in CS5 - but if it helps...0
