Support for Panasonic Lumix FZ-30 Camera
When does Phase One intend to offer RAW support for the Panasonic Lumix FZ-30 Camera? Any ideas? Anyone?
Thanks.
Thanks.

No one has any idea? 😭0 -
Go to http://support.phaseone.com and create a support case with your feature request. 0 -

Don't I have to own the software to get support?
Why would I buy software that won't work with my camera in the first place? 😉
Edit: Sorry, I misunderstood the page. I'll submit a request.
I just tried to submit a request, my camera body is not listed.
Thanks anyway.0 -
Seems that support has no interest in adding the Panasonic FZ-30 to their list of cameras \"unless it becomes popular\".
Well, according to Dpreview, specifically it's one of the top 20 most popular cameras holding at position number 17 and Panasonic cameras in general are the 4th most popular, riding behind Canon, Sony and Nikon.

I guess PhaseOne doesn't want my money. That's ok. 😂 😂0 -
And today....announced at Dpreview:
http://www.dpreview.com/articles/panasonicdmcl1/
The new Panasonic DMC-L1 which will price at about $1,900 or so and sporting that fabulous Leica lens. (Just like the FZ-30)
Have I twigged anyone's interest yet at phaseOne?? 😉0 -
girlperson1,
reopen your Support Case by replying and then make Feature Request for this Camera Model as well.
This is how it gets passed up-the-line to the true Decision Makers 😉
cheers,

Ok, I put in another request for support. Hopefully, they will twig when the realize that the Panasonic cameras are not cameras to snivel at and that they actually sport excellent optics and other hardware.0 -
I just made another request for RAW support for the FZ-30. The FZ-50 is now hitting the market and still no RAW support from Phase One. Panasonic is the 4th most popular camera sold. It's a large market to ignore. 0
