Trial should last until 9.1
Gives people more time to find bugs and fix problems.
I've found one bug so far and others are having large catalog issues at the moment.
I'm a new CO user so I can't fall back on the older versions when trial is over.
I would just go back to using my other program.
Don't really feel like paying to get CO9 as is now but if the trial last longer than I wouldn't mind using it to find more bugs and continue learning the program.

The trial period for C1 used to be 60 days and used to exist for all .X releases (that at, 8.0, 8.1 and so on). I suspect that PhaseOne reduced the free trial to 30 days because with a 60 day free trial and with a new free trial at every .X release, there was little need to buy the product. 0 -

Well ain't that a lot of days if they let a 8.0 trial user start another one with 8.1 😉
For current 9.0.X trial users, it should last until 9.1 and afterwards it can be 30 days. No reset every .X release.0 -

Perhaps what I meant was not clear.
If I remember correctly (and I think I do) each .X release came with its own 30 day trial and, if that was the way it was with 8.0, I assume it will be the same with 9.0. That is, when 9.1 arrives I assume there will be another 30 day trial and you can try it then.
Considering that the time from 9.0 to 9.1 many be as long as 3 months or longer it seems to be asking a bit much for the trial to last for that entire period. Some current software products now only offer a 15 day trial.0 -

I know what you meant.
I'm not looking to wait on each .X release for freebie trials but instead to get a stable version out (hopefully 9.1)
Trial should last to 9.1 for the sake of finding and fixing bugs.
Letting everyone use the trial again for each .X release doesn't make much sense to me.

The trial period is there to allow new users to try out the new features in X.0 or X.X versions before deciding to buy.
There are no plans to change this.
If you find any bugs, please report them to our Support Team right away.0 -
30 days is long enough to decide if the software is what you want and need. You should be able to make such decisions in much less time.

I am not using the trial to see if C1 is what I want or need.0 -

I will send the bug I found but you've essentially lost someone that could potentially find more bugs to get a stable version out faster.0 -

Basically you asking to use program for free 😊.
Actually trials are intended to make a decision of using or not using software, and for using it for fun 😊.
If you not decided to use it then it is your choice.
