Change the name of Session/Catalog

Hi,

how to change the name of a session or a catalog?

  The way I do it, which may not be the best or the only way......
  
  

  1 Close Capture One if it is currently using the Catalog you wish to rename
  
  2 Navigate to where you have the Catalog folder
  
  3 Rename the Folder to match your desired new Catalog name
  
  4 Rename the Catalog database file (the one ending in .cocatalogdb in the root of the Catalog folder) to match your desired new name
  
  5 Double click on the database file (example.cocatalogdb) to open it in Capture One. It should show as the new name at the top left of Capture One, or to open it from within Capture One choose File / Open then navigate to the newly renamed Capture One database file and select it.

  
  
  You can also use this procedure to make a copy of a Catalog that you want to modify without losing the original such as keeping some of the contents and deleting others. Just add one action after Step 1 above which is to make a copy of the Catalog folder you want to duplicate, then proceed to Step 2 and rename the newly created copy of the database file and folder.
