Do you try to connect from a previous version of CO or by visiting the download site?
    http://www.phaseone.com/en/Downloads/CaptureOne.aspx

A 404 error might occur because your machine/application points to a link that does not exists anymore.

It could be the server was undergoing maintenance or just one of those things. Use the server download for Denmark since it may be IP sensitive. Also could be the hotel may have things like that blocked.

I have experienced the same issue, but from my local connection. What I finally did was go to the site and download the program and install it. It installed over the current version w/out any hitch.

Tried to update to 5.1.2 and get an 404 Error, seems the server doesn't exist anymore, or is it because I'm on hotel server in Germany and not at home?

    cheers for any help

I also tried to upgrade Today, directly from Capture One with the same error 404 server not available.

    Hi all,

This is a bug in the C1 software updater which points to the old xchange.phaseone.com server we had in place while updating the websites. 🤭

If anyone experiences similar issues, then the workaround is to simiply visit and download the version you need.

This will be fixed in the next release, apologies for any confusion.
