The trouble is that Finder in itself is not an app that opens images. You could probably have Open in Preview, for instance, if you don't want it to open specifically in an image editing app like Photoshop, Affinity, etc.

Yeah I tried open in preview but that's not what I'm looking for. Pretty much any time I process out photos it is to send them off somewhere, just trying to automate things a bit more. Not a big deal really. Thanks for your input.

Should be possible. What about the following idea? Just a thought, I didn't test it.

    1) Create an Automator that tells Finder to open a folder from a file dropped onto that Automator.
    2) Tell OS X to remember this Automator to open that image type, just to make it show up in the supported applications list.
    3) Start CO and create a recipe that uses that Automator after exporting.

    Something for the scripting forum...

Has anyone found a solution to this?
Its very annoying not being able to view files in finder after Export. When shooting with clients they want the photos fast and i can send via Airdrop but have to open finder and locate the folder.
Lightroom has done this since very early versions
