First impression: S-L-O-W !!

I was working with a catalog completely offline (i.e. no network or other external access) and I get the beach ball frequently (I am on Macs) and it often takes several seconds to just select an image or switch folders.

    On Windows 7 it is S-L-O-W as well and crashes while importing files.

    Never been so disappointed with software. Guess someone should be really ashamed at PHASE ONE!

    Yes, the Apple Core Services provide a faster render on my 2008 Mac Pro with 10.6.7 installed. Probably 25% faster than the Phase One setting. But overall, 50% slower than Expression Media 2. For example, a 150 K GIF took a full second to render.
