Missing input on mask drawing with Wacom tablet
Hello,
I am facing missing Wacom tablet (Intuos 3) input when brushing in on a layer.
Example :
Create a new layer
Display the mask (M)
Take the pen, draw with the pen side
The first (might -- lets say it does here) draw works
Lift the pen
Draw again
The second draw is not on the mask
Note that this happen randomly and that there could be a few successes followed by a few failures.
This was working perfectly fine with C1 11.0.0.282 and is not anymore with 11.1.1.10
Has anybody experienced that?
On a side not, on 11.0.0.282, I already had kind of a similar issue where the pen input wouldn't take the pressure into account, therefore drawing the thinest line possible.
I am running OS X 10.11.6 with Wacom drivers 6.3.15-2 (the latest available for this tablet afaik)
I thought it was caused by the auto-mask. However this happens every time.
Basically, there is a fixed delay between the end of the draw and the next input.
Has something changed between C1 11.0 and C1 11.1?

There were mask issues in general in the current version that I logged with P1 and they were acknowledged as a bug and due to be fixed. Maybe sign up as a beta tester and try that latest beta. Otherwise wait for 11.2 where I hope they should be fixed.
These issues were not exactly as you report but similar.0 -
Thanks for letting me know about the known issues.
I tried 11.2 beta (I'm a registered user) and it is on par with 11.1
While 11.0 isn't perfect, it still performs somewhat better than 11.1/11.20 -
A couple of weeks ago I opened a ticket and they asked me to show how my input is not take into account in C1.
What do you suggest to capture that?
I mean, when I will tap on the tablet, if C1 is not displaying anything, how can I show I made an input?0 -
Hi, I'm running the newest Version of COP11 (11.2.1) and using a Wacom Intuos4 and have the same problem to draw a mask. After shotdown and restart COP it works for a short time.
Edit: Drawing with the mouse w/o the Wacom is also not possible.0 -

During beta testing I was asked to provide screen recordings, which is pretty easy to do with a Mac (if you don't know how, easiest thing is to do a web search).
I'm still finding issues in the current version, have sent reports to Support, and am hopeful that C1 12 will fix them. Otherwise I don't know what I'll do when I need to upgrade from 11.1 (since I'm using dual monitors, I need to stay with 11.1 because of "design decisions" made in later versions).0
