I'll bear in mind not to take advantage of Phase One offers that are time limited, because they obviously have an agenda in their upgrade policy.

Sorry if you feel as though we have "agenda" but that clearly is not the case. Our limited offer 5 weeks ago coincided with Photo Expo and it's timing in relation to our latest release is not planned, simply coincidental.
As you got quite a discount in October, and still have full access to Capture One 5 for as long as you would like it doesn't seem like we have taken anything away from you in that regard.0 -

Working for this company I know plenty... but at that time are you asking if there was a definitive release date for Capture One 6? Up until last week we didn't have a release date so unfortunately the conspiracy theory doesn't hold water.
I would suggest that you try Capture One 6, if it's not for you then all of your frustration is over nothing. If you fall deeply in love with it, contact us through the support system and perhaps there is something we can do... however given the nature of your specific key (in this specific case) I can't say that is likely... but who knows.0 -
Capture One is not my main software, but I still like to keep tabs on whatever is going on. If I hadn't updated with the offer, I'd still be paying the same upgrade price today (Having 2 copies via Sandisk, one that was updated to 4, this one with the offer from 3), and that is where my frustration is. I got Expression Media through an offer from Peter Krogh, does that make my license inferior too? 0 -

I am sorry that you feel slighted but I don't think the Forum is the proper place for me to discuss your specific keys and what you have paid for them. In your case I will only say that it seems you've been quite fortunate in the past and the cost for you to upgrade today is much more than it was in October. You still have Capture One 5 to use as long as you would like and there is still no support case submitted by you to address your concern. We'll have to leave it at that.0 -
