Uninstalling Older Versions of Capture One

Ray!
This is another issue that I can't find any straightforward answer. Is is safe to uninstall older versions of Capture One? I've Googled, and searched here as well, but can't find any reference to indicate whether old versions can be uninstalled or need to be retained for upgrades to continue working. That is, is it safe to uninstall versions 8 and 9 after upgrading to version 10?

    I guess it is as I have always uninstalled and I only use v10 now, have been doing that since v6.
