Sigma Foveon Cameras

Hello,

Sigma release interresting Foveon Sensors cameras. Is there any plan (from PhaseOne) or needs (from users) to support these cameras ?

The Sigma's software is "basic".

    I believe they do not support the RAW files directly, but if the RAWs converted to DNG, in the past have worked. I believe back in the CO7 days, when they added support for the B&W Leica, they added support the linear DNG files which is what Adobe DNG converter produces for the Sigma cameras.

    Now, take the above with a grain of salt. I have not tried using my Sigma in a few years, and these were the older cameras where each "color" layer were the same size. The newer ones I don't know.

    Don't forget TIFF. If you can get a TIFF from some other piece of software then Capture One can import that too.
