How to stop a running process??
How to stop a running process??
Via the process tab,I have started by mistake to process 350 images that had already been processed.
I need to cancel this and move on to process a different batch of 3oo images but I just can’t.
I can’t find where this can be done.
I have already closed and opened CP1 , I have restarted the computer but it simply just doesn’t stop. Worse, when I open Capt1 again, it starts again from the very beginning duplicating images already processed!! A nightmare
Can anyone help?
Arnold

You should see a Stop and Start button at the bottom of the batch queue screen.
Check the Help files for the official documentation.

Thanks Grant, problem solved. I did search the help files before posting here but had no success. Anyway, back on track, thanks again

Hi Arnold,
Glad you got that sorted out.
I looked at the search results provided by a "typical" search string and decided there might be more appearing than would be useful ...
However diving in to the relevant chapter of the of the User Guide I was able to find the required section. It was not obvious where it would be from the top level index but being somewhat familiar with the Guide's style I could work out where to look.
Of course I should have known the answer ... but I can't remember ever stopping a batch before. I probably have stopped one. If not there are probably several that I should have stopped! But it was not something with which I was familiar enough to just describe without looking it up for certainty!
As the batch runs as a separate process you could stop it via Windows but I have no idea what the effect might be within the status information maintained by C1. Not great I would guess but, if it became a desperate need for some reason, there is the possibility.
