I would think so. Works great on MacBook Pro and Mac Pro. We've been using it for the past couple weeks on a long commercial shoot we are on. Everyone on set can now see what's going on without crowding the capture computer monitor. They can also browse all the shots without interrupting the capture computer. Been using it with the iPhone and iPad. My first assistant is in heaven with Capture Pilot as he can be up in the rafters adjusting a light and then pull his iphone out of his pocket and see what his lights are doing. There are lots of bugs but we are slowly learning to work around them. Sometimes it requires a restart of the computer, iPhone or iPad. In any case it's only about a 1 minute delay to get rolling again. Clients can be in the next room and see what we are shooting. I can be tethered 30' from the capture computer and my assistant can be next to me with the iPad and I can glance over and check my focus and histogram. We love it. 0 -
I think the question might be whether there is a capture pilot app that could run on another computer. Which would be awesome.
Think of an iMac wirelessly connected in a client meeting area.0 -
I suppose screen sharing or remote desktop would work just fine. That's what we used to do before capture pilot on the ipad. 0
