jpg image not being recognized

When importing images to a folder it happened a single jpg image hasn't been recognized by C1. (All others have been.) As other programs do render this jpg file C1 ignores (e.g. Rawtherapee, Irfanview, PixInsight) I question myself what is so special about this image. What could be the reason for C1's behaviour?
