Set default location for file operations on Mac - How?
Simple question really. Hopefully there is an equally simple answer.
I store my Capture One images on an externally connected drive.
Whenever I import images from an SD Card or similar, or try and open catalog, Capture One starts with the file dialog pointing to the '~/Pictures' folder (i.e. the one on my system drive).
I would like to change the default so Capture One starts these operations with the file dialog pointing to the external drive, but cannot find a setting to achieve this.
Grateful for any advice about what I need to do.
Thanks!

My method of importing may be different from yours, but my version of CO always starts an import pointing to the location of the last import, provided that the folder last used is accessible.
I work as follows:
1) Manually copy my images from my flash memory to a semi-permanently mounted flash memory card (Transcend JetDrive). This is a 128 GB sd card that sits flush on my MBP so I tend to forget that it is not regular memory which, I suppose, is why it is designed like that.
2) Create a catalog for each day's images importing the images from the JetDrive, but not actually making another copy. The import location always remembers where the last import was done and starts from there when I "Select Folder ...".
Given the way my system works I guess my first question would be whether the last import location is available on your system when you start the import.0
