Late 2010 Macbook Pro and 1Ds Mark 3 issues
Late 2010 Core i5 15" Macbook Pro. OS 10.6.5
Capture One Pro 6.1 recognizes the 1Ds Mark 3 tethered to it, but Capture commands don't work, and when the shutter release button is pressed, it says, "busy" on the camera. We've tried switching cables, using repeaters, active extensions and the like. It seems to work fine in EOS Utility, however.
Now, the same camera connected to an early 2010 Core i7 15" Macbook Pro, OS 10.6.6 has no issues.
Anyone experience similar issues? I can't seem to figure this one out. Is there a hardware issue in the new Macbook Pros?

Have you tried all different USB ports on the new Mac? Different behavior was reported earlier here when tethering. The USB port closest to the power connector seems to be best, IIRC. 0 -
I cant get my 5D to even show up in the camera box. Wont teather up at all. Also my card reader seems like forever (30 sec) to get the import dialogue box to appear. 0 -

Check the release notes of the 6.1.1 for tethered support. Also, in the future, please create a new thread as your entry is not related to the OP.0
