use of color noise reduction
Hello,
Excuse me if this has been elaborated on in this forum already, but I've not been following it for some time.
The thing is that I've noticed that use of color noise reduction, desaturates the image, but in strange, selective way. Setting the slider to 100, and viewing the image at 100%, I can see it almost completely desaturates certain colors, especially in darker parts of the image.
Is this a normal side effect of color noise reduction, or is this a specific issue for my camera, Olympus E3?
Does anyone know?
regards
Chris

Unfortunately not! I have the same result. Also the luminance noise is very difficult to manage; the result looks different in different zoom positions. 0
