Hi there, How do I batch upgrade engine 9 to all images? Thanks a lot!!

  Make sure you have the options selected for "edit selected variants" not "edit primary variant" (the button showing a stack of rectangles, or from the Edit menu, or Shift-Cmd-E) then select all (Cmd-A) and hit the Upgrade button in the Base Characteristics tool.
  
  BUT - do you want to? You could find that edits that you had done to your satisfaction using the old engine no longer look the same (since things like the saturation and contrast sliders produce a bit of a different result). It's not a given that the image will automatically look better without more work. You can quickly and easily upgrade an old image that you want to improve on when you want to do so, and newly imported images will use the new engine anyway. You can't undo changing an image to the new engine.

  I've the same question a few days ago.. I think the answers will help you too. And there was a good reason to prevent me to update all images overall.

  It is good point to not upgrade all images to engine 9, however the same problem was happened when I want to paste setting to all selected images, it solved now thanks a lot.
