Hierarchical keywords - hide parent

I was wondering whether there is a way to hide the parent keyword which in my case is more like a structural container?

    You could create a shared keyword library using the guidance here .

    If you call the library, say, "Birds" you can have keywords within it like "Seagull", "Eagle", "Crow" etc.

    You can create another one called, say, "Cities", and have keywords within it like "London", "Moscow" etc.

    Then Birds and Cities are "containers" for the keywords as you describe it.

    Shared keyword libraries will be available to all your sessions and catalogs.
