I need an instantly redrawn image
I see that the sharpness of 4.8.3 is more realistic than in 4.1.1
But I do not like this going out of focus, and then the redrawing of the image. This also occurs when going from image to image.
4.1.1 may not have have had realistic sharpness representation, but I do the sharpening in Photoshop anyway.
For me, RAW processor is to have the best possible tonal preparation for work in Photoshop. I never use an image right out of the RAW processor.
What I'd like to know: which is the newest CO 4 that has instant image redrawing and runs on Snow Leopard?
Does 4.1.1 run on Snow Leopard?
(It's buggy with a bad film strip and always losing the order of the images in the files, but it was great to work with, image adjustment-wise).
(I only upgraded to Snow Leopard because I wanted to use a newer version of CO 4. But I must say: I'm disappointed.
As far as I have learned from the other threads, version 5 is as sluggish with redrawing the image as is version 4.8.3.
