teathered file numbering
Using V6.4.3
Is there any way when shooting tethered to set the file numbering so that when you start with a new file name the counter resets to 1. Currently the numbering seems to just continue from the last number even with a new file name.
I do a lot of company portraits. As an example when I start shooting John Smith I get "John Smith-001" up to say "John Smith-016". Then I start shooting Peggy Jones and the first file reads "Peggy Jones-017". I would like it to start over with 001 and so on down the list.
This was the default for V3.7.9. Also miss the file name drop down list which showed the last 10 file names.

You can set and reset the counter from the Next Capture Naming tool, that is where you set the Name (John Smit) as well. In the tool's title bar, click on the small triangle at the right, and... there you are. 😉 0 -
Yes, I saw that it can be done manually. Would be nice if it could be set to do this automatically or as default like in 3.7.9.
Also, if you're shooting J_Smith and the go to S_Kelly and then go back to J_Smith you have to "Reset Capture Counter" AND "Set Capture Counter" to the next file number or the file numbers get all out of order.
It's just more things that Capture One has done to slow down the work flow during the photo shoot.0
