Saving Metadata Settings

I use the Metadate Tool to add keywords to my images, but I don't use the other Metadata Tags very much at all, so is there a way to collapse all the other metadata features so I don't have to do it manually each time. I wonder if it could be possible to collapse the unwanted features and save them as a custom workspace.

Any advice of suggestions would be most welcome.

  To the best of my knowledge this is not possible. The tools and tool tabs are saved in a workspace, the state (collapsed/expanded for instance) probably not (I ran a small test).
  
  I think you idea makes a lot of sense. I suggest to put it in a feature request support case.

  I don't know if this would work for you, but I work for different clients that all require slightly different metadata, so once I have the information set the first time, I copy it to the clipboard and save it as a style. Then apply the client's style to image(s), etc.
