Best practice for working on images from multiple sessions?

Now I'm sure there is a very easy way to do this...I have images from different sessions that I want to work on together in their own session. Any suggestions?

Create a favorites folder in a new session, no files moved / no hassle.

It depends, if you want to retain the settings from the original session but play around with new settings in the new session it gets complicated, afaik. If you are not bothered by overwriting old adjustments Drew's suggestion is good.
