Maintain crop while holding shift?
I'm pretty new to C1. Is there a way to maintain the crop ratio while holding down a key like shift, alt, or ctrl? None of those work, but I'm just curious if there's some odd way of doing it. It doesn't make sense to me to not be able to do something like that.
Thanks in advanced!

Why are you holding down these keys while cropping? 0 -
Capture One maintains the Crop Ratio when one is set in the Crop Tool;

Just a thought It is a bit tedious changing the crop ratios. (which I do a lot) For me it would be good to have a hot key or quick way to get to 'unconstrained'
If nobody knows a way of doing this or lots of people find this too, maybe I will raise a support case request0 -

I can guess that the person is holding down the shift key hoping that it will operate like photoshop. When you hold down the shift key while cropping inside of photoshop it will maintain the image's original aspect ratio.
It would seem to me that C1 could do alot more to make its operation more like that of Photoshop. Given that we export to a file and then most likely use Photoshop to do more edits, if they need them, it would be a bonus if we could have similar operations in common areas.
I agree with the OP that it is a pain to have to change the settings under the crop tool.0 -

Yep, that's my suspicion too, but the original post was worded almost as if it was just a fun thing to do, to hold arbitrary keys down while applying a crop - it's by no means clear what the OP is trying to achieve.0 -
In my case most of my 'fixed' crops are at original 2:3. A lot of my shots work best with almost letterbox 'unconstrained' crops. So for me a way to get easily between the two would be good. Using a key combination to hold the crop ratio to original maybe would work for me as long as the current selected crop in the menu is maintained for images yet to be cropped. I could then leave 'unconstrained' as my selection (default) via the menu, and get to 2:3 with a key combination.
I don't advocate complicating the way capture one operates, I like it as it is. However I agree with the poster and think that this might actually make life easier.0
