How to move pictures with Metadat from PSE

Hi all,

I am trying to add my older pictures into C1. Those files were originally loaded and tagged with keywords with Photoshop Elements. All goes well except I cannot see any keyword although there exist respective .xmp files in the same folder with pictures. Can you propose anything?

  I'm presuming you used the Organizer to tag your images, did you actually write the info/tags to the files in PSE by selecting the thumnails and using this ?

  If not then no information is embedded for CO6 to read.

  Take a look at your Capture One Preferences, Image tab, Metadata section. I suspect that you'd best set your Auto Sync Sidecar XMP to Load for one-way transport and Full Sync for two-way transport of metadata.
  
  This way CO6 reads the metadata from the XMP file (Load) and writes back to it as well (Full Sync).
