    Hi jo,

Regarding your first issue, please follow the instructions below.

Using third party profiles with CO4/Mac
Profiles as from Magne Nilsen, or home made profiles, can be used with CO4. However, they don’t show up as you might aspect from using CO3.x. This is for two reasons. First, CO4 has its own profile folder and second, CO4 has its own naming schema for proflies in that folder. Both constraints are easily met with the instructions below.

Note: If you do not use a particular profile frequently, you can use it already: in CO4, open the Quick tool tab, open the ICC Profile drop down list, scroll to Other and select the profile.

However to allow the camera profile to show in the Camera Name section in the ICC Profile list, copy its file to the following folder: <volume>/Applications/Capture One/Contents/Resources/Profiles/Input for a camera profile.
Note that to open the Contents subfolder, right click on the Capture One object and select ‘Show Package Contents’.
Next, rename the file according to naming conventions used by CO4. In short, the file name must start with the camera model name as CO4 uses for its own profile for the camera. For example, for the Canon 5D it starts with CanonEOS5D- and for the Leica M8 with LeicaM8-. Don’t forget the dash! Restart CO4 and the profile(s) show up behind the camera name on the list.

Note: When updating CO4/Mac, the entire application package is replaced. Your renamed profiles therefore will probably be lost after the update. Reapply the procedure above. Best practice: store the renamed profiles in a backup folder (Renamed for CO4) elsewhere.
