Buggy import and auto crop at import as well?

When importing images to a session with CO7 not all images are imported or show up. Just imported 161 images and CO7 told me 122 images were in the session. Workaround is to import using Windows.
And what is up with a slight crop being automatically applied to the images? I shoot a lot in the 4x5 ratio on my camera, and when they show up in CO7 there is a slight crop applied. How can I get rid of this behavior?

The Crop is likely due to an Automatic Lens profile being applied, check the Lens Tool.
The Import may be due to a sub folder that contained images or perhaps a Global Filter? Hard to say but more details should shed some light on it.0 -
Lens tool: Yes, distortion is set to 100% automatically. Need to find out why. How can I turn it off?
About filtering: I don´t have any filtering set as far as I know. Don´t use that feature. And about sub folders, this happens on a completely new session... No images from earlier.
