Can you tell us a bit more about the issue.
    What version of MP?
    Computer OS ?
Are you talking about an older catalog that once worked, but does not now?
Do you want to create a new one?

Any more details will be helpful for us to help you.

I am not familiar with " 10.9 mavericks developer preview 8." I am a Windows user. I see where that is a beta release. MP may not work with that yet.

Is this your first time using a trial version of MP?

    The release notes say :
    Apple® Macintosh®:
    • Intel-based Mac
    • 2 GB of RAM
    • 10 GB of free hard disk space
    • OS X 10.8.2, Mac OS X 10.7.5, Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later

Your 10.9 is not supported yet.

Mac OS 10.9 has been released but I have not seen any update from PhaseOne (on their system requirements page here ) indicating that Media Pro works in the new OS. Disappointed. ☹️
