Colour Proofing Confusion

I have an image that I want to send to a third party for printing. They want the image encoded as sRGB, which is fine. They also have ICC profiles for the specific papers/inks.

Presumably I have to set the output recipe to use the sRGB ICC profile, which should mean that the prints will match what I see on screen exactly *except* for the parts of the image that are outside of the gamut of the actual paper/ink.

But how can I check the what parts of the image will be out-of-gamut?

    The same small triangle which is used for checking the too high or too low lights will give you also the out of gamut colours (obvious : you will have values higher than or lower than, e.g. 250 and 5 respectively, for the printer/paper/ink profile), as soon as this profile is selected as proof.
