Monitor Color Management
Although my monitor is profiled and displays images correctly in Capture One v8.02, they are over saturated in Media Pro. Does anyone know of a way to correct this?

Judging by the response, I guess not. It is hard to believe that imaging software promoted as "Pro" by Phase One would not be color managed. 0 -
This is an issue that has been discussed, but I cannot remember the title.
What kind of monitor do you have?0 -
I had checked the old thread and there was no resolution. The monitor is an Eizo CG243W although that is not the issue. It is fully profiled via x-rite iPhoto Pro 2 with spot on color in C1, Photoshop CC, Lightroom and even Firefox with the color management plugin. I was trying Media Pro as a trial again and thought it might be useful in my IQ file workflow but maybe not. 0 -
Don't get me wrong, I'm not insinuating that its your monitor. At least not in the sense that the monitor is faulty.
I'm having the exact same issue.
I'm using a NEC with Spectraview II software. I believe my calibration setup actually makes the changes within the monitor itself and thats where Media Pro gets confused. It seems like its double profiling.
The reason I say this is that when I did a clean install of Yosemite (I mean a complete format and reinstallation) the monitor
maintained its calibration from the previous installation.0 -
Same problem here. Files are too saturated in Media Pro, especially Magenta areas.
Files look correct in Capture One 8.1.
Eizo Monitor is hardware-calibrated with a DTP94.
Should be possible for two programs from same company to show equal results0 -
I have a colorsync problem since the latest update from Photoshop CC.
Files developed only in Adobe Camera Raw are NOT color synced
,files that were altered in Photoshop are.In Media Pro :preferences, media rendering, color match : on.
Files straight from ACR look better with color match : off.
I think this might be the same problem as you have ,and there's a bug somewhere in Media Pro,that causes not reading color profiles correctly.I'm hoping for an update...0
