version 10 no upgrade??

i have had version 8 and v9 and now get a message on the upgrade page for version 10 :-

You don't have any license to upgrade.

What is going on ? I am not going to pay 279 eu for this version 10 when I already have bought the previous ones , why can I not upgrade?

    Usually this means you activated the key on another email to the one you are currently logged in with...

    thank you, looking back at emails from P1 I have two codes one for v8 and one for v9 but neither seems to be recognised by the update choice .
    but I see by upgrading from the free sony version to the pro version v10 it costs 50 eur I assume this is then the best way to ?

    Getting started with Capture One Pro (for Sony) or Capture One Pro
    Once you complete your upgrade purchase, you will receive your Capture One license key via email. Open up your existing Capture One Express (for Sony) and change the configuration from within the application under Help > License Information (Windows) or Capture One > License (Mac).

    I think what Jim was pointing out was that you might have logged in to a Phase One account in your name but a different email address associated with it than the address for the account that you used to activate your previous licences.

    You could indeed obtain the Pro for Sony version should you so choose. Presumably you have only Sony cameras?

    Grant, thank you for the reply.
    I have however only had the one email address for years and so that cannot of been the reason. I did ask Phase 1 but never received a reply.
    yes I only have a couple of A7t2 bodies much as I would love to have a P1 body and lenses I cannot afford or justify the expense.

    I think with hindsight the upgrade is only for those who have bought the full program and not the discounted sony pro version.

    I'm running into a similar problem. My version 8 no longer runs, logging in to my account shows no licenses.

    I contacted their tech support via their web-site and got my issue resolved. They had to issue a replacement valid C1 v8 activation code for me.

    The code I had was from a special upgrade offer they sold back in 2004 when v4 came out where instead of buying one upgrade you could by a pack of 5 upgrades to use over time. My last version this special sale allowed me to upgrade to for free was V8 and I did so and activated that product.

    But, as they upgraded their web world, my key fell by the wayside and my v8 deactivated itself. They resolved this so I'm good to go and successfully purchased my v10 upgrade and activated it.

    Here is the same, when trying to Update V9 to V10
    My license is displayed, whe i select, next window displays the message "You don't have any license to upgrade"
    Asked Support, .... no reply ☹️
    v9 is the full version, payd eu 279,-

    Isn't it in the shopping cart?

    I was confused by that 'next window' and the message when I upgraded, too. Then I noticed that it was placed into the shopping cart. After switching to the cart, I was able to continue.
