When will C1 8 engine be supported in MediaPro ?

This is the question every user of Media Pro is asking himself now that CO8 has replaced CO7 in our hearts and workflows. So I make this question public in hope of getting an (clear, please) answer from Phase One developers. We are professionals or experts photographers who really need all the cataloging functions of Media Pro and all the power of CO8 working well together. So is Media Pro dead or alive, are you working on it ?!

    i think Phase one are showing no moor interesting for MP .
    for photos Workflow, C1 7 and C1 8 pro have already a small DAM inside, you can write and manage your photos inside C1 now !
    but it is not working stabil with OSX 10.10 Yosemite , the integration between C1 8 and MP is terrible now and before ,, no ones know whats coming soon, phase one don't give any interesting about that, i contact the support and they can't give any solution about it
    many competitors telling there cline WHATS COMING SOON !

    I think Media Pro is dead !
    I am not able to view my library under Yosemite (each second a disturbing dialog is popping up: Media Pro Importer wurde unerwartet beendet ( A subtask crashes )) and Support said, there is no support for Yosemite until now (4 month after release!!!). I have over 100k pictures, documents and movies in Media Pro and now I am standing in the rain looking for another solution. I am using Capture One Pro 8, but for my media incl. PDF and Video, this is not an option.
    A sad and disappointed customer.

    Has anybody formally asked Phase One whether Media Pro is dead? Whether it is being folded into Capture One Pro?

    i dont think Media Pro is dead !
    i ask the support about this issue they are working on a update
    and they need test person using different Hardwares
    you could write the Support about it.

    Yes, formal they do. However, they do not act as this is software for professional photographers.
    Since they aquired MP from Microsoft 4 (!) years ago, almost no development has been added.
    At that moment, early 2011, Expression Media could use some serious updates already and i hoped that Phase One would made real work of it. After all they are a company for photographers. Hower they did not. Thats why in my opinion MP is practicaly dead. After 4 years i doubt there is some user base left. Only the one with extreme patience stayed...

    i think they are training to put MP inside C18 ! " Programm integration"
    this means for us you can use the MP functions directly inside C18 just like the Old Aperture 😁
    this make's since for user to have one Programm "C8" with a good DAM function.
