Metadata Issues

Has anyone experienced any issues with metadata on C19? I had an assignment yesterday and I write my captions in Photo Mechanic and after upgrading C19 none of the caption information is crossing over. No matter what setting I have set on C1 it won't bring in the correct information, I've loaded up the XMP sidecar and the caption information is in the xmp file and correct but c1 won't recognize it. Anyone else have the issue and find a workaround?

  I think there are issues with XMP sidecar files.
  
  there is a known bug where once something is written into the XMP file it will load it and overwrite everything you changed (color, stars) post first writing the XMP file.
  
  I have no current workaround and had to turn it off to actually flag/tag images.
  
  I also have opened a bug report about this to PhaseOne.
  
  Do the same, so they know this is a big issue.

  I'm not sure if it works for everyone, but the bug seems to go away if the images are in the selects folder not the capture folder.
