Expression Media 2 erase my .xml data files
Hallo,
I have a problem, I work on an Intel-Mac with Expression Media 2.0.2.
If I drag and drop a folder to Expression Media 2.0.2. all the .xml data files in the folder were erased.
I tryed it many way`s and it hapends allways the same, I can see it in realtime in the opend folder on the desk, they vanish into thin air.
Is there anybody who know`s what happend there. It is Importent to mark in the File > CatalogImporters: Text and Html. Can you try it in your Softwear, to see what happend, is it the same on your Mac/ PC.
Thank you for helping!

Hello,
I have the same problem, but with video archives.
I wanted to import video archives from a Sony EX1R, that comes in the XDCAM file format. Not only with the videotrack but also with other files like XML and in a specific file structure. I imported al archives into Expression Media 2 an he deletes all my XML files - and this is not good!
Because in the XML files a important information for editing programs like Avid or Premiere Pro. So now I cannot import this files into a editing program.
I wrote to the support, but yet they didn't answer.
So if anybody has a solution, or know, how to undo an import: please write.
Thanks and best regards,

This has been an issue for about 3 years. Deleted hundreds and hundreds of important XML files when I imported many GIS map files. 0 -
Seems to be fixed with Media Pro 1. 0
