PDF Contact Sheet Watermark Not Working - bug?
I am trying to output a contact sheet in a pdf format for my client. I need to put For Review Only on each image.
I select the images for the output
Set up the template
Click on the caption/filename info, which works fine
Click on the Watermark pane and set that up.
And, here is where it goes wrong: the preview window shows the watermark in three out of 8 images for one page, oneof them on page 2, page 3 has all of them marked. Page 4 has only one marked.
At first I thought it was just a glitch in the preview pane. However, when I did the output, it proved that the preview was correct.
Changing the font scale will make the watermark appear and disappear in different images on the page.
It does seem to work with an image file, but not a text file.
Weird.

OK, I assume you talk about the Print dialog, not the Export Web Contact Sheet dialog, right?
The watermark-text in the print module is not working properly. I see the same here as what you describe.
Update: it works better when I use pixels instead of points for the font size.0 -
Yep, the print dialog.
Yes, pixels works a little better but is still wonky as it doesn't always update and was still dropping the text from some of the images.0 -

Sounds like a bug. Could you file a support case on this? You can refer to this thread if you like.0 -
will do. 0 -
I opened a support ticket and got a reply. This is a confirmed bug.
Hopefully, it will get tweaked in the next update.0 -
FWIW.
I tried this with Windows (not across the centre but it was just a quick test).
One of my "PDF Printer" programs simply failed.
The other worked fine with the only anomaly being for Portrait orientation images having truncated text because the watermark was set up more or less full width for Landscape orientation.
So hopefully you problem is not too difficult to fix.

Thanks for testing on Windows.
On the mac, I worked around the bug by using an image of For Review Only instead of text.
It wasn't a huge pita but did add a little time to the workflow.0
