    Wendy,
Yes, I've been able to duplicate your experiences. When zoom on Preview is greater than 200% I don't see it happen. Seems it occurs under 200% and whatever size presents a scrollbar. I see it with Canon and Fuji files. Not all files though i.e. Session A with 10D files it does this, and then Session B with 10D files and I cannot get it to do this. I can't get it to happen at all on Digital Back files.
For me, the color always returns to normal by either clicking away, to another thumbnail, or click to fit window thereby zooming back down.

While it certainly is a weird behavior ❓ I'm not sure I would call it a Bug.
When zoomed up on Preview to the point you get the scroll bar below the image; and you are using the White Balance or Exposure tools, the cursor is analyzing pixels in the whole viewing area where it is pointed. The values it is reading appear in the tool display area. When the cursor is moved off of the image and over the gray scroll bar, who knows what pixel information it is translating.

Because the cursor analyzes the exact same number of pixels irregardless of the Preview size, it seems a good practice to view the entire picture when reading values or adjusting an image.

I will nonetheless pass this along to Developers to see if there is more to understand here. I will post any further input they offer.

    Sincerely,

    k c

Oh man, it IS a bug - I am so sorry I didn't see it in the trial as I would not have spent 100 bucks on the program - I feel stuck now. PLEASE take it seriously and ask for a fix!!!
