C1Pro Slow
Hello.
I downloaded trial version of C1 Pro. I have Win2000, Pentium III 866MHz, 640MB RAM, Nikon D70s, which satisfies minimum requirements.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see much of C1 because it was unresponsible almost all the time. When I selected the folder with around 100 NEFs, it started loading images which took more than 15 minutes and during all this time I couldn't do anything with it. Then, it started generating previews which took even more, I couldn't wait for it to finish, so I just CTRL-ALT-DEL stopped it.
Does this happen to anyone else?
I have RawShooter Premium running on my computer just fine.
Thanks.

I find the speed on my version oc C1 Pro to be very acceptable. I am running on a 2.66Ghz with 1.5GB of RAM and XP Pro.
15 minutes is alot of time for it to load. I would say there is something conflicting in your PC. Have you tried to run it after a clean boot. My other suggestion would be to remove and reinstall again as I had to do that once.
C1 is a good product, a little slow coming to market and can be finicky but I use it more than anything else. Don't give up so easily as it is worth it in the end.0 -
Pedrag,
C1 Pro will be slow on your configuration, but not unusably so, you need a much faster processor and some more ram. Even RSP wil benefit from both.
