    Exposure Tool Saturation... Adjusts the images saturation overall.
    Color Editor Saturation... Adjusts the saturation of the color selected.

    what about the one on the bottom of the color editor box?

    The reason why I ask is the latest newsletter confused me.

    I thought the saturation in the exposure box was over all and the one at the bottom of the color editor box was the smart overall saturation.

    The entry that you referred to used "Smart" in an off the cuff way, the parenthesis mean that the name is not official but rather an emphasis given by the author.
    One saturation is not smarter than the other, just operate in different ways.
