Tethering Canon Mark II under Mac 10.5.6
We just upgraded to Leopard (on 10.5.6 now) and have run into the issue of tethering our Canon Mark II through Capture One (we're on Pro 4.6.1).
I've found the work-around of opening Activity Monitor to quit the process of Type8Camera once the camera is plugged in, then restarting Capture One. The permanent work-around of deleting Type8Camera does not seem to work here though.
It's supposed to be in /System/Library/Image Capture/Devices/Type8Camera (though maybe that's just for older versions of Leopard?)
I reveal hidden files and still only see three scanner images in there, and have done searches for Type8Camera.
Is there any current permanent work-around for this issue that I haven't found yet? I've been researching this for hours.
